Christine Stoneman (CMC, RPR) Principal, Chemistry Consulting Group Inc.

Christine is a Principal with Chemistry Consulting Group.  She has been a valued member of the hospitality and tourism industry for more than 26 years.  Active in the community, she serves on the Boards of the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council, Greater Victoria Development Agency and Victoria Police.  Additionally, she is Chairperson of the Victoria Airport Authority and Past Chair of Tourism Victoria.

Christine has lived and worked in Europe, Canada and the Caribbean and is bilingual in German and English. Prior to entering the consulting field, she held management positions with Four Seasons Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Trusthouse Forte, and Keg Restaurants. Her work in the industry has taken her to Victoria and Toronto and contract positions with Wardair Holidays in the Caribbean.

Christine specializes in industry specific training customized to individual hotels or restaurants, as well as consulting services relating to operational and human resources issues. She was a BC Representative on the National committee for the validation and development of National Occupational Standards for Reservations Sales Agent, Front Desk Agent and Tourism Trainer. She is nationally-certified as a Tourism Trainer, Reservation Sales Agent and Front Desk Agent by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council. Christine is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR).

Marcia Hammonds (BA, CHRP) Program Manager, 365jobs

Marcia offers more than 20 years experience in the area of human resources and recruitment, both locally, nationally and internationally.  Most recently Marcia spent seven years living and working in Dubai, UAE initially in the capacity of Human Resources Consultant for Serco Middle East, a large service-oriented multi-national company headquartered out of the UK, and then more recently as an Executive Recruitment Consultant for Kershaw Leonard, a boutique-style recruitment agency.

Prior to living in the Middle East, Marcia held various senior positions within the consulting and hospitality industry, most notably within Grant Thornton where she worked with various tourism-related employment programs including Destinations and Tourism Careers for Youth.
